Performance

The Grand Duchess Returns
From Jessup Theatre's production of Anastasia. McKenna was able to fufill her childhood dreams of becoming the lost Russian princess in the Fall of 2024 right before graduating from Jessup with her Bachelors in Theatre that December.

Golden Hour Assassin
From the promo shoot for Age of Shadow and Blood. McKenna donned her medieval assassin garb for her character, Seren.

The Villains Have More Fun
A still from the short film, The Golden Rule, Baz Meier Films. McKenna played the film's main antagonist, Sylvia Watts, and was able to dip into her love for the villain role.

Marguerite's Dilemma
From the video and poster promo shoot for Jessup Theatre's The Scarlet Pimpernel. Moment captured by Ephraim Jones Photography.

La Stella Cadente
For years, McKenna and her fmaily have joked about how one day she would "quit and join the circus" given her multitudes of circus-based years of training. But she finally had the chance to with Bayside Breakaway's production of "Under the Big Top," which was their 2025 Summer VBS theme. She had the opportunity to play Stella Garitano, the aerialist, and performed her aerial act "La Stella Cadente" for the kids and was invited back to perform it for their parents.

Elysian Fields' Hidden Treasure
Jessup Theatre's Fall 2022 production of A Streetcar Named Desire. Actors, McKenna Barry and Kaleb Branderhorst, recreate the iconic stair embrace from the original film in 1951.

Inner Demons
From Jessup Theatre's Spring 2023 production of A Piece of My Heart. McKenna's character, Martha O' Niell, just got done calling out the world for knowing absolutely nothing about the travesties of war and is now suffering her own battle of PTSD.

Hear the Serpent, it Calls Me
From the Lyra Music Video The Snake. McKenna had the opportunity to put her hands into multiple facets of this project. From being the acrobat in the video, to the editing behind the scenes, McKenna loved every minute of the 27 hour process.

Come on Tink, We're Off to Neverland
From the "Hook" piece in the Placer Pops production of "Hollywood at Harris." Jessup Theatre's Peter Pan cast was given the opportunity to promote their show in this 5 minute dance number featuring sword fighting, budding romance, and a flitting fairy. This was McKenna's first debut and only ground debut as Tinkerbell. From here, she took to the skies.

The Carousel of Dreams
From Jessup Theatre's production of The Scarlet Pimpernel. McKenna had the wonderful opportunity to tell the story of Marguerite St. Just. In a thrilling adventure of romance, betrayal, and daring sword fighting, McKenna believes that Madame St. Just has a story deserving of being told.

Moonlight Burst into the Room
Jessup Theatre's Fall 2023 Cabaret Piece, No One Else from Natasha, Pierre, and the Great Comet of 1812. This one hit real close to home.

Tinkerbell's Natural Habitat
Jessup Theatre's Fall 2023 production of Peter Pan brought forth the first aerialist performance the school had seen. With a dynamic routine from lyra to silks, Tinkerbell taught the audience how to fly. All it took was faith, trust, and a little bit of pixie dust.

If the Shoe Fits
From Jessup Theatre's Fall 2021 production of Cinderella. This was taken from the shoe fitting scene where the herald tries Cinderella's glass slipper on every woman in the kingdom. The choreographer looked at McKenna and told her, "Go do a back bend or something weird and unconventional like that." And she did.

Once Upon A December
From the video and poster promo shoot for Jessup Theatre's Anastasia.

This has been a beautiful creative outlet that really has now bounds and continues to be so helpful to me. I am grateful for the classes that have taught me what I know today and for the people that have brought me there. These are the highlights.

Wild
From the "Princess's Day Off" series. The name was chosen for the look that the model has in her eye as she looks away from the camera. Gentle, yet fierce, and incredibly wild.

Glimmer of A Smile
One of many clusters of senior portraits I've had the opportunity of doing. This picture I cannot take credit for though, because sometimes the light just hits the camera in the right place and magic happens all on its own.

Beauty in Intricacy
From the "Beauty in Simplicity" series. It captures the intricate design of the eye and all that makes it up and thus coined the name for the piece. This was one of the first pieces that sold in the art show this was debuted in.

Beauty in Elegance
From the "Beauty in Simplicity" series. There was something about how the petals landed on each other that was like a velvety touch to my eye. It screamed the word "elegant" at me and thus coined the title.

Warrior
From the "Princess's Day Off" series. Though still beautiful and elegant, the dress hides the sword, and the eyes carry the fire.

Kaleidescope
Taken on the set of a short film premiering 2024, this picture coined the title due to the ever changing colors of the model's eyes in the sun.

Wonderland
From the "Princess's Day Off" series. Meant to symbolize the beauty in a reflection and the affiliation to the Wonderland world.

Dead Poet's Society
From a senior portrait series, the client wanted to showcase their love of reading, knowledge, and whimsy in this library segment. The vibes shot for were Heath Ledger, Dead Poet's Society, and Perks of Being a Wallflower. Vibes achieved.

Don't You Forget About Me
From a senior portrait series, the goal was to highlight the client's past self looking at their graduated self with pride and admiration of all they have accomplished through college.
